In just a few days it’ll be Christmas – I’d like to wish everyone across Bromsgrove a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
One of my favourite traditions is to walk down the High Street and see the festive shop displays. Well done to Cancer Research UK for winning the best-dressed Christmas window competition for the second year in a row!
2016 marked the fifth year of my Christmas card competition. I’m continuously amazed by the creativity of children in Bromsgrove. Thank you to all those who participated and a big congratulations to Alivia, eight and the runners-up Carla, eight, Abi-Mae, nine, and Isabella, eight.
Christmas is also a good opportunity to remember those less fortunate. Earlier this month, I reaffirmed my commitment to tackling homelessness across Bromsgrove at the Artrix Centre and it was great to see local organisations including the Basement Project showing their support on the day.
This holiday, I hope you enjoy quality time with your loved ones and make sure you spend some time to think about any personal goals for 2017. I’m looking forward to championing the best for Bromsgrove in the year ahead.
Have a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year!
