BROMSGROVE MP Said Javid visited two Rubery businesses this weekend, to mark Small Business Saturday on December 3.
Mr Javid paid a visit to Polly Put The Kettle On and Café Licious, which are both thriving in New Road.
Speaking after his visit, Mr Javid said: "This year, Bromsgrove hit a new record by having the highest start-up companies outside of London.
"Small Business Saturday is a chance for us to celebrate small businesses, and it’s important that we always back our local entrepreneurs.
"In the run up to Christmas, do remember to shop at local stores and show your support."
