I WOULD like to wish all of my constituents and Bromsgrove Standard readers a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.
The festive period is a chance to reflect on the year that has passed and also look to the future.
There is no doubt that this year has been challenging, but the spirit, kindness and resolve of residents in Bromsgrove district remains strong – not least in the great effort to roll up our sleeves and get boosted.
As we celebrate the occasion, my thoughts and thanks are also with our armed forces overseas and the frontline workers, including NHS staff, who are working to keep us and our loved ones safe.
It is my extraordinary privilege to represent Bromsgrove district in Parliament and I look forward to the work ahead to support residents.
But, for now, I wish you and your family a merry Christmas and happy new year.
