Over the past couple of weeks, we have seen thousands of young people throughout the constituency opening their GCSE, AS and A Level results. Congratulations to all students for their hard work and efforts over the past school year – well done!
After a busy couple of weeks, many schools across the country have broken up and Parliament has also entered its summer recess. I’d like to wish all constituents in Bromsgrove a very happy summer holiday.
Radical new proposals to cut out unfair abuses of leasehold have been announced by the government today (25 July 2017) in a major move that will deliver a fairer, more transparent system for homebuyers.
Following a busy week in parliament, it’s always a pleasure to be out and about in Bromsgrove hearing from local community members. As always, the Bromsgrove Festival has been great and I commend the organisers on a wonderful event that is brightening up our town.
Local MP, Sajid Javid has welcomed today’s announcement that there will be an additional £1.3 billion for schools funding over two years – helping to create more good school places across Bromsgrove District.
