There are now just days to go to what promises to be Bromsgrove’s biggest ever Jobs Fair.
The event, organised by MP Sajid Javid, takes places in the sports hall at North Bromsgrove High School from 10am to 2pm on Friday (March 3).
At the fair there will be more than 50 exhibitors offering over 1,500 jobs in a variety of different fields, including the emergency services, the armed forces, banks, building societies, childcare, retail and more.
There will be many well-known local firms there and among the sponsors are LG Harris Ltd, SWS (Strategic Workforce Solutions) and The Bromsgrove Standard.
Admission is free and as well as job opportunities there will also be direct one-to-one communication with employers, details of volunteering positions and apprenticeships, CV advice and training and top tips on being interviewed.
Mr Javid said: “My Jobs Fair is about creating more opportunities for local people.
“I know how intimidating it can be to apply for a job.
“My Jobs Fair will bridge the gap by providing direct contact for those looking for a job with local companies looking for employees.”
