Bromsgrove MP, Sajid Javid, has announced that his fourth Pensioners’ Fair will take place on February 14th – and he is viewing the occasion as an opportunity to celebrate Bromsgrove District and the contribution of retirees to the community.
Attendees left with filled diaries, new hobbies and a better idea of the broad range of services, activities and events on offer right across the constituency.
This year, Sajid will be assembling the very best of Bromsgrove’s clubs, societies and charitable organisations to advertise their services.
The Fair currently has over 40 exhibitors confirmed, including First Bus, Bromsgrove Golf Centre and DentaDenta.
There will also be a series of live performances, including by the singer Helen Pearson, who will entertain audiences with a variety of vintage classics.
If you’re interested in becoming an exhibitor, sponsor, or would like more information, please do get in touch with Sajid via email on sajid.javid.mp@parliament.uk.
Bromsgrove MP, Sajid Javid said:
“Our last Pensioners’ Fair saw a record turnout, with more than 50 exhibition stalls, manned by a range of outstanding local organisations – from Age UK to the Artrix”
“I want to celebrate the contribution retirees make to our community and the fantastic work of the clubs, charities and businesses that support them”
“The event falling on Valentine’s Day has certainly not escaped my notice – and I have so far resisted the pleas of my team to make the Fair a speed dating event. I am happy to confirm that the likes of rose petals, champagne and certainly oysters will not be making an appearance. If Cupids Arrow does strike, I’m afraid it won’t be because of your local MP"
