Bromsgrove MP Sajid Javid has congratulated a town centre care home, after it achieved an 'outstanding' result in its most recent CQC inspection.
Inspectors gave St John’s Court the highest possible rating available to care homes, describing it as having a ‘warm, homely atmosphere’, with staff that ‘cared for people with kindness, patience and understanding’.
Laura Wilkes, who manages the home, said: "We are pleased that, at St John’s Court in Bromsgrove, we have received a letter from Rt Hon Sajid Javid MP from the House of Commons, congratulating us on achieving 'outstanding' following our CQC Inspection.
"The letter thanks everyone for their hard work, who endlessly work to provide the best services for residents at the home."
"Everyone continues to be thrilled for the recognition of their hard work and we continue to strive to improve and adapt to the ever-changing needs and wishes of our ladies and gentlemen who come to live at St John’s Court."
