BROMSGROVE MP Sajid Javid has renewed his commitment to honour the millions of victims of the Holocaust, by signing the Holocaust Educational Trust’s Book of Commitment.
The book also pays tribute to the endless work of Holocaust survivors to educate young people.
Mr Javid said: “Holocaust Memorial Day is a reminder for us to call out bigotry and racism when we see it.
"It’s important that we learn from the horrors of the past and be strong enough to stand up and speak out in the face of hatred.
"Thank you to the Holocaust Educational Trust for all the positive work you do to raise awareness and make sure we never forget."
Mr Javid took part in the Lessons from Auschwitz Project in 2011 accompanied by a group of students from Bromsgrove schools.
Residents across the district will also be remembering the Holocaust at a public event at Parkside tomorrow, to mark Holocaust Memorial Day.
