Hundreds turn out to Sajid Javid MP's fifth annual Jobs Fair

HUNDREDS of people turned out to the fifth annual Jobs Fair organised by Bromsgrove MP Sajid Javid.

There were 90 employers and organisations free at the event which took place at North Bromsgrove High School yesterday and was free to both exhibitors and employment-hunters.


Sajid Javid MP has announced the largest increase in police funding since 2010.


Total funding for policing in 2019/20 will rise by up to £970 million.


For Bromsgrove, and across West Mercia, this means up to an extra £16 million in 2019/20.


MP visits Hagley St John's Church for Ringing Remembers Project

MP Sajid Javid visited the bell tower at St John's Church in Hagley to pay tribute to the 1,400 bell-ringers that died during the First World War.

The visit, which saw Mr Javid tolling the number two bell, was part of the national Ringing Remembers Project.

Sajid Javid MP presents regional award to Care Force staff

UNSUNG heroes' at a Bromsgrove home care company have had their hard work recognised with a regional award.

Town MP Sajid Javid presented the Home Care Top 20 Award, which is based on customer reviews scores, to Care Force staff on Friday, May 18.
