Bromsgrove MP, Sajid Javid, met with students from Lickey Hills Primary School on World Book Day to celebrate the importance of reading.

The MP took questions from the students, who were dressed for the occasion in fancy dress outfits of their favourite characters.

New GDP figures released this morning show the UK economy has reported the strongest growth since the Second World War and was the fastest growing G7 economy in 2021.

As wave after wave of Covid has crashed against our defences during the last two years, the NHS has managed to stand its ground. Nurses, doctors, cleaners and so many others have put everything on the line to care for patients and families up and down the country.
